Full Journal pdf2001-05-04 Senate Journal Page 1482 SB 88 Message dated May 4 was read, stating the House passed SENATE BILL NO. 88 with the following amendment: Page 2, lines 8-9: Delete "whose district is located partially or wholly" Insert "who is elected from a district, of which more than 50 percent is located" 2001-05-04 Senate Journal Page 1483 Page 2, lines 13-14: Delete "whose district is located partially or wholly" Insert "who is elected from a district, of which more than 50 percent is located" and so, SENATE BILL NO. 88 am H "An Act relating to metropolitan planning organizations and to establishment of a metropolitan planning organization for the Anchorage metropolitan area; and providing for an effective date" is returned for consideration. Senator Leman moved that the Senate concur in the House amendment. The question being: "Shall the Senate concur in the House amendment?" The roll was taken with the following result: SB 88 am H Shall the Senate Concur in the House Amendment to SB 88? Effective Date YEAS: 20 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Austerman, Cowdery, Davis, Donley, Ellis, Elton, Green, Halford, Hoffman, Kelly, Leman, Lincoln, Olson, Pearce, Phillips, Taylor, Therriault, Torgerson, Ward, Wilken and so, the Senate concurred in the House amendment, thus adopting SENATE BILL NO. 88 am H. Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent that the vote on the passage of the bill be considered the vote on the effective date clause. Without objection, it was so ordered. The Secretary was requested to notify the House. The bill was referred to the Secretary for enrollment.
